Our students will pursue a range of course options, including:
certificates in Steelpan Literacy, Steelpan Performance, Orchestra Performance, Pantrepreneurship and Culture.
We have began the process of developing an international reach by partnering with the International Society of Music Education and creating a platform such as Steelpan Global with connections in the U.S. for creativity and innovation, and we’re committed to growing that over the life of this Strategic Plan
The Academy has developed a relation with the
following organizations and will continue to
maintain its partnership.
We have developed Steelpan literacy programs
in 3 different Primary Schools, creating a syllabus to meet the needs of all the students. The Academy has also provided steelpans to the schools and a qualified music teacher. The schools are as follow: Belmont Girls R.C., Gloster Lodge and Moravian Melville Memorial

With the different number of student demographics, The Academy has and will continue to develop educational pathways that will meet the needs of students and steelpan industry practitioners. best for our students A student communications process will be developed to provide information in a way that works.
We will build programs that support the entrepreneural side of the steelbands. These programs will be promoted through our recruitment process.
Most students in the 21st century will be at ease with technology and will easily adapt and integrate new functionality as introduced.
